STRATEGIC AMBITIONS

The Board discharges its responsibility for setting the strategic direction Linked Sports Business College by agreeing on the Vision and Mission statements and the College Strategic Plan.
The Vision and Mission Statements seek to encapsulate the core purposes and aims of the LSBC Institution. The Education and Sports Academy Board members are committed to ensuring that all staff conduct business in accordance to the highest ethical professional standards and complied with the LSBC code of Conduct. This includes the 10 Principles of Public Service set out by the LSBC. This will help us build institution reputation and to respond to the new emerging challenges and opportunities in education and sports industry.
Our statements are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the developing needs of students and the changing educational and training requirements of the nation and international standard.

The Chancellor of the LSBC

The Chancellor of LSBC is appointed by the board, is the most senior officer of the LSBC, but is not a member of staff and plays no direct part in the day-to-day running of the LSBC institution. As the ceremonial head of the LSBC, the Chancellor’s main formal role is to preside at degree ceremonies. The Chancellor acts as an ambassador for the LSBC institution, promoting its interests, and participates in the key events that mark the life of the LSBC institution.

The Pro-Chancellor LSBC

LSBC Pro-Chancellor primary role is as Chair of the Education and Sports Academy Board members. As Chair, the Pro-Chancellor is responsible for the leadership of the governing body and for ensuring that it deals with LSBC business efficiently and effectively, in a manner appropriate to the proper conduct of public business, and in accordance with the LSBC governance and internal rules and regulations.

LSBC Treasurer

The Treasurer is a key member of the Education and Sports Academy Board members and Chair of the LSBCFinancial Committee, he works with the LSBC as Finance Director to ensure that the financial position of the LSBC and other financial issues are presented to the Finance Committee, and then to the Education and Sports Academy Board members, in an appropriate and timely manner. He/she identifies and raises issues pertinent to the remit of the Council, and the policies of the College contributes to the work and decision-making process of the Education and Sports Academy Board members through discussion, advice and guidance.

LSBC Secretary

The LSBC Secretary is also a member of the Executive Education and Sports Academy Board members and is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the LSBC professional and support services. The LSBC Secretary also have overall responsibility for LSBC governance. The LSBC Secretary is also a member of the Executive Education and Sports Academy Board members
