COURSE OVERVIEW:  This degree course is accredited by Valley View University. The programme specifications provide definitive records of VVU Quality Assurance requirements. The module aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of human responses and adaptations to sport and exercise. Using a psychological approach, students acquire knowledge and understanding of sport and exercise, how exercise is performed to promote good health.
The course equips students with deep theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding needed to become a qualified practitioner in the fast-growing field of Sports Psychology & Sports Coaching. Also, one can enjoy the dual benefits of working in a field that you are passionate about, whilst helping others discover the joy of sport for themselves. Students will study a range of topics in sports coaching, sports science, physical education and football coaching, as well as increasing their knowledge in, understanding, and becoming aware of, significant national and international sports-related bodies and governance issues in sports administration. The programme helps the student to promote a healthy lifestyle of others, develop the skills necessary for coherent communication, and enhancing the sense of community living or lifestyle. Sports Psychology & Sports Coaching course also equips students with sports leadership skills and teamwork skills towards the development in both outdoor and traditional activities in the pursuit of excellence in all spheres of life.

The programme does not leave out the skills needed or required to critically evaluate contemporary sports issues and other related developing issues. This course is very as it is a blend of theory and practice to develops students’ ability to monitor and critically evaluate human responses to testing methodologies, with a clear understanding of the influence of character on sports performance, exercise and the opportunity to do CAF coaching licence from the Introductory level to CAF A Licence.
There is also an opportunity for the learner to do an internship in sports or football coaching with any of our partner sports/football organizations. All the levels (100-400) of the programme focuses on the Sports Psychology & Sports Coaching. The programme is designed to create industry-ready graduates who can apply theory to practical situations and to help primarily those seeking careers in Sports Psychology & Sports Coaching.

The programme is aligned to the academic professional standards practice and  development, advocated by GFA and CAF , allowing you to graduate with the skills, knowledge and experience you need to become an effective Juvenile and elite professional football coach and a manager.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

 Secondary Education with an appreciable grade in English study which tests fluent English Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing ability. The course is well structured to appeal to all learning styles. The mood of lessons delivery includes live stream interaction with the lecture and guest speakers, videos lessons, slides, step by step guidance, diagrams, internet links and downloadable learning materials. You will receive a clear step-by-step explanation and support through to complete the course. This is what differentiates our program and sets our Graduates above the rest. LSBC will NOT quickie award Certification, Diploma or Degree from having just simply watched lessons videos, do the quiz, and assignment, but we will ensure you are well equipped with transferable skills.
Enjoy a vibrant mix of video, real-life scenarios, case studies, opportunities for self-reflection and supportive feedback in the module will help you develop. The study method will enable you to study from home or at work; it is completely up to you. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone most of your materials will be available online.
This course is assessed by a series of quizzes, presentations, Group work, replacement, practical video assessment, observation, exams  and written assignments, which you submit to your tutor on the LMS for marking. There is no external examination required.
Once enrolled, you will have (3-4 Years), which will allow you to work-study around your work and family commitments, work at your own pace, without the pressure of tight deadlines. You will also receive tutorial support throughout the course, this course will take you approximately 320 hours.
At the end of this course, successful students will receive Certificates of Achievement from Valley View University and a module accomplishes statement summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course). It may be used as evidence towards Recognition of prior learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The awards have long-established reputations for providing high-quality vocational sports qualifications across a wide range of sports.
