COURSE OVERVIEW: This degree course is accredited by Valley View University. The programme specifications provide definitive records of VVU Quality Assurance requirements. The module aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of human responses and adaptations to sport and exercise. Using a psychological approach, students acquire knowledge and understanding of sport and exercise, how exercise is performed to promote good health.
The course equips students with deep theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding needed to become a qualified practitioner in the fast-growing field of Physical Education and Sports Coaching Science. Students will study a range of topics in sports coaching, sports science, weightlifting, tennis, boxing, disable coaching and contemporary issues relating to the planning, programming and delivery of football coaching to develop essential skills and effective practice within youth and elite sports settings, specifically within extracurricular activities, school sport and coaching in the community. You’ll explore primary and secondary physical education (PE) with a range of ability groups in your community to gain as much teaching experience as possible over your 4 years of studies.
The programme helps the student to promote a healthy lifestyle of others, develop the skills necessary for the coherent communication, and enhancing the sense of community living or lifestyle, including sports leadership skills and teamwork skills in the pursuit of excellence in all spheres of life.
LSBC aims to ensure that everyone on our Football Coaching & Management degree qualifications, skills and expertise needed for the maximum chance of success within the football industry. In addition, LSBC will offer the student the opportunity to do CAF coaching license, from the Introductory level to CAF A Licence.
The course has been designed to allow students to choose options that reflect their personal interests and aspirations and allow flexibility through module choices at (Level-300 Academic year). LSBC focus is on learning not testing; therefore, we emphasis on developing independent, resourceful, problem-solving coaches who have developed transferable skills that can be applied across many contexts.
