COURSE OVERVIEW: This executive course is specially designed to provide the learner with the theoretical knowledge and practical skill-set required to work in Sports Talent ID, and Football Scouting.

The course is suitable for anyone passionate and interested in football scouting and Sports talent ID officer. The course is relevant for people looking to increase their skills, knowledge and understanding talent identification, and professional scouting, from grassroots to elite football. Whether you are football director, coach, manager, player, football analyst, back-room staff, first aider, student, sports teacher, TV sports presenter, radio & media, sports journalist or football fan, this is your opportunity to start a career in football. After completing this course, you will understand the roles and responsibilities to establish a well-rounded view of how to identify potential talent in sports, the fundamental knowledge and skills to become Sports Talent ID, and Football Scouting. Our course has been developed to meet the needs of a rapidly changing industry.

COURSE AIM: The course will explore key areas important in football scouting, the first part of the unit will focus on mandatory units, sports first aid and emergency training, the importance of the Talent ID and how to identify talent, develop talent.

The second part will explore professional football Scouting (Player & Tactical Scout), Role and responsibility of a scout and relationship between scouts, agents, and coaches.  Learn game formation, and system, demonstrate your understanding of the team playing style and ability to scout individual players and the entire team.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

 Secondary Education with an appreciable grade in English study which tests fluent English Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing ability. The course is well structured to appeal to all learning styles. The mood of lessons delivery includes live stream interaction with the lecture and guest speakers, videos lessons, slides, step by step guidance, diagrams, internet links and downloadable learning materials. You will receive a clear step-by-step explanation and support through to complete the course. This is what differentiates our program and sets our Graduates above the rest. LSBC will NOT quickie award Certification, Diploma or Degree from having just simply watched lessons videos, do the quiz, and assignment, but we will ensure you are well equipped with transferable skills.
Enjoy a vibrant mix of video, real-life scenarios, case studies, opportunities for self-reflection and supportive feedback in the module will help you develop. The study method will enable you to study from home or at work; it is completely up to you. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone most of your materials will be available online.
This course is assessed by a series of quizzes, presentations, Group work, replacement, practical video assessment, observation, exams  and written assignments, which you submit to your tutor on the LMS for marking. There is no external examination required.
Once enrolled, you will have (3-4 Years), which will allow you to work-study around your work and family commitments, work at your own pace, without the pressure of tight deadlines. You will also receive tutorial support throughout the course, this course will take you approximately 320 hours.
At the end of this course, successful students will receive Certificates of Achievement from Valley View University and a module accomplishes statement summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course). It may be used as evidence towards Recognition of prior learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The awards have long-established reputations for providing high-quality vocational sports qualifications across a wide range of sports.
