The course is a combination of theoretical and practical work, you’ll learn the fundamental theory and practise of professional and juvenile sports management which underpins knowledge and understanding of team management, leadership skills from a sports management context, introduction to the financial management to gain knowledge in sports organisation annual accounts, cash flow statements, ratios, depreciation, financial decision making and budgeting and forecasting in a sporting context and many more.

COURSE AIM

The course will equip you with the fundamental knowledge and skills in Football Business Management & Admin, you’ll gain knowledge in the key areas of sports management, including ethical, sustainability and safety issues, Sports Marketing/sponsorship, Contemporary Socio-Cultural Issues in Sport, Sports Leadership and Administration.

Safeguarding unit is ideally for everyone who works with young people in sports, Safeguard players content focuses on making the game of football safe and to promote best practice to protect young people in sports, both on the pitch and off the pitch. The learner will learn how to recognise signs and symptoms of abuse, and understand fears involved in these concerns and will explore how this can affect the future of the game of football from grassroots to the professional level.

OUR CURRICULUM

The course is well structured to appeal to all learning styles. The mood of lessons delivery includes live stream interaction with the lecture and guest speakers, videos lessons, slides, step by step guidance, diagrams, internet links and downloadable learning materials. You will receive a clear step-by-step explanation and support through to complete the course. This is what differentiates our program and sets our Graduates above the rest. LSBC will NOT quickie award Certification, Diploma or Degree from having just simply watched lessons videos, do the quiz, and assignment, but we will ensure you are well equipped with transferable skills.

STUDY METHOD

Enjoy a vibrant mix of video, real-life scenarios, case studies, opportunities for self-reflection and supportive feedback in the module will help you develop. The study method will enable you to study from home or at work; it is completely up to you. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone most of your materials will be available online.

ASSESSMENT

This course is assessed by a series of quizzes, presentations, Group work, replacement, practical video assessment, observation, exams and written assignments, which you submit to your tutor on the LMS for marking. There is no external examination required.

COURSE DURATION

Once enrolled, you will have (3-4 Years), which will allow you to work-study around your work and family commitments, work at your own pace, without the pressure of tight deadlines. You will also receive tutorial support throughout the course, this course will take you approximately 320 hours.

CERTIFICATE (AWARD)

At the end of this course, successful students will receive Certificates of Achievement from Valley View University and a module accomplishes statement summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course). It may be used as evidence towards Recognition of prior learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The awards have long-established reputations for providing high-quality vocational sports qualifications across a wide range of sports.
